I've never been a fan of indoor pools. They're often loud and stuffy, and on a warm summer day, I prefer soaking up the sunshine outdoors. But all that changed when I stumbled upon a hidden gem in the heart of Paris - the spa pool at L'Hôtel du Collectionneur Paris.

At first, I was confused by the hotel's insistence on calling it a spa. Stepping inside, I understood. It's an exclusive, peaceful sanctuary with a limited guest capacity of eight at a time. This ensures a serene atmosphere, a stark contrast to the bustling city outside.

The pool itself is a sight to behold. The entire roof is mirrored, and the glistening tiles create a mesmerizing effect. An hour spent lounging by the pool, taking a dip, and soaking in the tranquility left me feeling utterly relaxed, as if I had just meditated or received a massage.
This experience reminded me of another stunning pool I've encountered - Cloud 22 at Atlantis, The Royal in Dubai. While the Parisian pool is more intimate and serene, the Dubai pool offers a different vibe with a DJ and drinks flowing, overlooking the city's skyline.
L'Hôtel du Collectionneur Paris' spa is a recent addition, opening in April this year. Accessing it costs €60, granting entry to the fitness center as well. The hotel has recently refurbished about 100 rooms, so consider requesting one of the new accommodations for an enhanced experience.
